Talofa.
My family who I love so so so so so MUCH!!! How are y'all? I miss youuu!!! Mom every time I say something in a different language, its because people here all speak different languages!! You got Tongan, Samoan, Marshalese, phillipeano, and last and least... english:) Its grand. I love it, so many cultures! This past weekend we got invited to a Samoan party. Twas a blast. Haha they sure know how to party! Also- I'm safe here:) No worries! We're smart. Also- we share a pad with the Tongan ward sisters! Haha sister talanoa is hilarious. I love them.. they dance Tongan and talk in southern accents every night and we just laugh our heads off. Also- I'm gaining weight. yep. like 10 ibs so far. ahhhh people here just giiiiiiiiiive and giiiiiiiive. I love them soooo much. (thats why I'm so fat. hahaha) Oh well. I dont even care anymore. Just letting y'all know. Imma come back Tongan;)Dad- I love hearing about your YSA ward! How cool to hear how your working with the missionaries over there, and the wards over there! Fun to picture them all at our house in our backyard. Talk to those investigators of theirs! I know those missionaries are working their tail off, praying for their investigators, and constantly thinking of them. Them coming to this party at our home is a huge deal. Wow.. I love that they get to come and feel the strong spirit in our home. That puts a big smile to my face just thinking about them there:) Awesome family!Well. I'm feeling really... bitter sweet right now. I should probably repent, because I shouldn't be bitter at all. I left Maui with 5 baptism dates.. and all the investigators were people we found while I was in Maui.. and... I just found out about 5 seconds ago they are getting baptized this saturday and the next.. SUPERRRR exciting! Just really bummed... because I feel like they're my children. Hahaha... And I dont even get to see them get baptized!! Ahh.. they've come so far. I know your guys prayers have been answered! Sybil and the Yaps and Haias:) Are finally getting baptized.Well ok, I'll tell you a miracle though!! So me and Sister Teuscher were coming back from mission tour (a huge meeting we had that they flew all the missionaries from the islands to come) and we were so worn out, but decided to go to the YSA institute. When we got there, I sat next to a kid named Sumi. He started playing tic tac toe with me during the lesson. I played. And won. He thought I was so funny. After institute he shook my hand and said good game. Then he pulled out his phone and before I knew it, He was naming off referrals for us! He gave us 7. Mahea was curious what was going on and why the missionaries (us) we're SO excited. So she came over. She then joined Sumi and gave us refferrals as well. She gave us 6. Sun was curious why the missionaries kept getting so excited. He joined Sumi and Mahea and gave us 2 referrals. Tom joined Sumi Mahea and Sun and gave us more refferrals!!Family.. we got 21 refferrals this week!!! Wow! Miracle. I was freaking out as to how in the world we were suppose to do work in this branch. Heavenly Father answers prayers! By the way I dont know if I told you this but we white washed this place. ( which means, becase theres no work in that area, they take both Elders out, and add two new fresh missionaries- which is us!) I didn't see why Heavenly Father had me here, but I am seeing why more and more! I am so grateful for all these refferrals! We have contacted about half so far, and they ALL are wanting us to come over and hear about our church. They're all YSA aged:)GIVE REFFERRALS to the missionaries!! If you want to make the missionaries entire week... or entire transfer, give them a refferal:) I promise blessings.Well we also got assigned to a ward as well! So our main focus is the branch, but when the Elders in the Ewa Beach 2 ward need help, we are here to help them.Turns out they need help.so now we are going to be super busy taking over half their area. I'm so grateful right now. Heavenly Father answers prayers! Honestly, I had no idea what to do, or where to even start when I first came into this area. He has helped so much. He doesn't ever leave you, you guys!Dad, I truly wish I had names for you to pray for... but we dont have any investigators over here. We really started from scratch. You can continue to pray for Ed Kaahue and Ed campell. They live in Maui, I still pray for them. Pray that we can get new investigators. I miss teaching! And I know there are people over here in Waipahu who need the Gospel! You can pray for me to not be so stubborn I guess... I just miss Maui! And all those investigators!HA wel here's something funny- On Sunday I came into church and see a boy with a missionary hair cut, clean shaved, shoulder bag, and pen and book in shirt pocket. I did a double take to see which Elder that was and where his companion was. I noticed nothing, I also noticed he didn't have a name tag. I looked back again so confused. Hahahaha he's and RM as of like a week ago. Hahaha SO funny. I can imagine that was what Aaron was like when he got home:)Ohana- No Ka Oi. (You da best)Sister Olsen (aka Sister Oklahaoma - thats what they call me here. haha)
