October 28, 2013 {Kaitlyn}

Hello my beautiful family,
Well, the weeks just keep getting better and better! :) I LOVE IT HERE!!! Mom keeps saying that she hopes I go to Argentina soon, but now it's going to be hard to leave. You just get so attached to your areas! AHH I can't believe Josh is heading to Mexico ToDAY! I feel his pain... I'm sure he's excited but also very nervous and sad at the same time. That's AWESOME that he had a baptism right before he left though. My old ward mish leader was saying that I'll be going to Argentina in no time now that I had my first baptism. We'll see!! Sorry mom, I won't be calling you before going... ;) Ha I actually have no idea what they'll have me do. Mean joke! Haha
As for this week, not too many crazy things went on. We now have the GOLDEN investigator in our hands. It almost makes me nervous teaching someone who wants it so bad, because I don't want to do anything to lose her. She's UNBELIEVABLE! Haha we're so excited about it. Her name is Maria, and her story is pretty neat. Her husband is a less active. Back in Bolivia he converted because his whole family was baptizing into our church. He said he really didn't ever have a testimony so when he came here he just stopped going. Well, they came to church for the first time last week and he was tearing up in sacrament meeting. He said he really felt the spirit and he knows that this church is true. Well, the wife along with it instantly gained a testimony. She believes ALL of it. We just need to teach her it all and she'll be baptized in no time! They are the cutest couple EVER. They have a 3 month year old, and oh man, I'm just obsessed with their cute little family. :)
Highlight of the Week::: LA IGLESIA!!! :) Church this week was AMAZING! We had two of our investigators show up, and along with that 3 less active families. Wait it gets even better. It was the primary program, so Roberta's(less active) children participated in the primary program. One of her daughter's (Ichxel) is our investigator and she just did such and amazing job. When each of her girls said their parts I don't think I've ever smiled so big in my LIFE! IT WAS DARLING!!! :) The spirit of that meeting was seriously something that I can't even describe. Kids are just so pure its amazing. They shared our whole message in several simple sentences. The gospel is so simple that literally these little sunbeams could share it. We had the opportunity of singing a few songs with them, and it was just the most amazing experience ever. It reminded me of when I was that age and just looked up to the missionaries so much. Now here I am a missionary myself. These kids are going to be an AMAZING generation. They just radiate the gospel of Jesus Christ already. One of the songs they sang was "Families can be Together Forever" the whole meeting was in English (because we're a branch so this was combined) but the chorus of this song the cute kids learned the words in Spanish. It was DARLING and the spirit was just so unbelievably strong. Along with this amazing meeting I also finished el Libro de Mormon because I decided to just read straight through it. It was an AMAZING experience. THIS CHURCH IS TRUE :)
Well family, I love you all so much. It's so wonderful to hear the updates from each of you each week. I know you have been going through lots, but the calm after the storm will come. Have an amazing week. You're all in my prayers! PS brownie points to my two brothers who both wrote me this week. :) Love you and miss you all!
PS. A long one. Haha so I have lots of questions. When was Melissa leaving again? November? What has Sadie been up to? WHITNEY is getting MARRIED?! CRAZY! Here we go with the friends getting married on the mish. That was just shocking. Hmm... I had a few other things but unfortunately I can't remember anymore. Oh it was so wonderful to hear how AMAZING Kim is doing!! :) She sounds GREAT! I'm so so so excited for her! And Josh! And just everyone!!! It's so fun to be sharing these wonderful experiences with people all around the world! :)
PSS Haha oh and a bit more. We have been working with another less active and she is just darling. You would not believe the things that these poor people go through. It is quite sad, and I can't even believe that there are people in the world who would do such things. The Hispanic woman often have a rough background with the men in their life. Anyway, we have two less actives who just really opened up to us this week. One of them just absolutely loves and appreciates that we come. She's so darling. She invited us over to have pancakes on her only day off, so we're headed over there right after this. Love you all so much! Have a fantastic week! :) Choose the Right :)
