HOLAAAA!!! you have no idea how excited i am right now. Its like Christmas to be able to email. im stressing out tho because i dont have very much time because we had the opportunity to go to the temple today. lo siento for the bad grammer. just ignore im trying to go as fast as possible. it just made my week to get on and see that i had a bunch of emails from the people i love most. my first week has been muy bien!! i love love love my District. i couldnt be more blessed with the people that are in it. We have such a good time together. maybe too much fun sometimes. haha. gosh i have so much to say that i dont even know what to say. My teachers name is Hermano Silva. He is a recently returned misssionary and he is the BEST! haha hes so funny. Sooo for some reason i was put into an intermediate class for spanish hahaha so its been pretty rough. lets just say... no hablo espanol. hahaha. on the second day we had to teach a lesson in espanol and it was the most FRUSTRATING thing ever!!! ahhhh. i just want to speak so badly. i know what i want to say but i just cant express it! ugh. so there were a lot of awkward silences of mi and mi companero trying to figure out the words to say. after that lesson i was so frustrated but the next day was so so much better. our investagador is Fernando. the second lesson we taught him was about the restoration. we were able to say a little bit more this time so i came out of it pretty happy. ha. way better than the first lesson. we asked him if he believed that joseph smith was a true prophet. and he said no. So right then i bore my testimony to him the best i could and then we asked him again and he said YES! lets just say that was the greatest. And then yesterdays lesson was good! We asked him if he would be baptised but he said no. and i was actually able to understand him a little bit yayayaya. but he said no to baptism beacuse he doesnt know why its necesito because he was already baptised in the catholic church. we tried to explain to him but its just so hard with the language barrier. but itll get better. el don de lenguas is real. or else i would not have been able to understand anything he was saying to me. but hopefully tomorrows lesson will go well! the temple today was awesome! it was so funny tho because half was in spanish and i was so so confused haha but the temple is beautiful! we will have the opportunity to go 2 more times before we leave here. so thatll be awesome. excpet the next two times itll be only in spanish. ahhh. but i will have progressed alot by then hopefully. It is sooo so pretty here at th CCM (MTC)! And the food is good most of the time! especially the beans and rice. Muy bien. haha the latinos just staaaack tortillas on their plates. literally like 10 tortillas each meal. i cant blame em tho. they are quite delicious. exercise time is a bummer tho. because we dont have much time. and mi companero doesnt like sports whatsoever or running so i kinda cant do that at all. :( but thats ok. i was able to play speed with some of the elders in my district and mi roomates. and that was the best. lets just say hermana Josse kicks butt. haha. all the latinos play futsal and i wanna play so so so bad but i cant. hopefully i will have the opportunity to eventually! So this mayyy shock the socks off some of you but i was told that i was one of the most outgoing people. yaaaa. haha that made me so happy. but really i have made so many friends. Its awesome because i usually dont become comfortable with people very fast. but i have gotten so comfortable with everyone so quickly. i said bye to Hermana Jackson on Sunday. that was no bueno. it was nice having someone i know here. and she was always so enthusiastic. it pumped me up. but shes gonna change some lives in Orlando without a doubt. so i am so happy for her. and i feel like ive known my roomates y companero for forever so all is well. but i honestly am loving it here and i am learning a lot. the time is the weirdest thing tho. i really dont understand it. the days are so long but each hour goes by so fast. haha so weird. oh and sunday was awesome! i gave the opening prayer in sacarement in probably the worst spanglish you have ever heard haha. and mi companero had to give a talk. Sooo im almost positive i will be giving one next week. and it has to be in spanish. im actually pretty sure each of us will have to give probably 2 talks while we are here because our ward is super small. so thats scary. but its ok. itll help me grow. and then these two hermanas gave an awesome lesson in our zone meeting. ahh so good. and then we had a devotional and listened to the best elder Holland talk ever!!! So good. favorite quote "you have been a successful missionary if you convert at least one person.... and i hope that one person is yourself" haha well something like that. if you havent seen that talk GOOOO watch it!! i dont remember what its called but its from January of 2013! so i dont get much sleep at night. there are constatnly fireworks and bottle rockets going off. all day. all night. whenever someone is born or dies they shoot them off. or for like 10 billion other reasons. haha so they are literally constantly going off. but i am becoming more and more use to it. there are also like huge dog fights we hear all the time which are so so loud. and lots of police sirens and gun shots. but dont worry. we are safe. well i love love love you all so much and i wish i had more time. but i dont. ahhh. choose the right. and be happy. love youuu alll!! love, Hermana Josse
